Introduction of Mahendra Singh Dhoni-
Mahendra Dhoni was born on 7 July 1981 in the Khas family of Ranchi. His father’s name is Pan Singh and his mother’s name is Devaki. His father, Pan Singh, is a retired employee of MECON (a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Steel), he also served in junior management positions. His mother Devaki Devi is a housewife. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has an elder brother Narendra Singh Dhoni and an elder sister Jayanthi Gupta. His brother is a politician, while his sister is an English teacher.
It was a good occasion when his football coach sent him as the wicket-keeper of the local club’s cricket team. Mahendra Singh Dhoni attracted everyone with his best performance and during 1995 to 1998 took permanent position in the Commando Cricket Club team as a regular wicketkeeper.
MS Dhoni continued to perform well from the beginning and selected for the Vinoo Mankad Trophy Under-16 Championship Team during 1997-98. He started taking cricket seriously only after 10th standard.But for cricket, this legendary cricketer had to compromise his studies, so he left his studies after 12th.

In 1998, India’s great cricketers were playing only at school and club level cricket. And selected to play in the Central Coal Fields Limited team. During this time, he impressed the former President of Bihar Cricket Association Deval Sahay with his true determination, hard work and his best performance. During the 1998–99 season, he failed to make it to the East Zone U-19 team or the rest of the Indian team, but the following season he selected for the East Zone U-19 team for the CK Nayudu Trophy.

Dhoni has also received many accolades such as the ICC One Day Player of the Year Award (the first Indian player to receive this honor) in 2007. The Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award and India’s fourth highest civilian honor in 2009, the Padma Shri Award. Dhoni was given captain status in Wisden’s first Dream Test eleven team. Under his captaincy, India won again in the One Day Cricket World Cup after 28 years. In 2013, under his captaincy, India became the winner of the Champions Trophy for the first time. Dhoni became the first captain in the world to have all the ICC Cups. He quit Test cricket in 2014 with captaincy. This decision shocked the cricket world. On 14 July 2018, MS Dhoni became the fourth Indian cricketer and the second wicketkeeper to score 10,000 runs in ODI cricket.
Dhoni led India to the 2015 Cricket World Cup for the second time in a row. And for the first time India won all the group matches. As well as winning a record in 11 consecutive World Cups. He also created a new record, he became the first captain of India to have 100 ODIs. They said that soon they will take a step that no captain has taken in their career. In June 2015, Forbes placed Dhoni at number 23 on the list of most expensive players and according to this list, he earned US $ 31 million.
